Stronghold legends multiplayer problem

I have been at this for days and i still havent found a soulution. I click on multiplayer and it freezes and then it says Multiplayer Service Not Available. Please help me i am about to give up.

There is no Multiplayer Suppor for this game at all, you need to use a third party application to play with others. I'd try Gameranger.

I have gameranger but when i try to play with people it says waiting for host and it doesnt do anything

I have the same problem, i cant play with gameranger too.. everytime i try to open my multiplayer menu my game crash or freeze :(

Question: Does this "Game Ranger" thing work with both a Steam copy, and an old DVD copy? Also, who makes Game Ranger, and What is Game Ranger?

there is no base multiplayer for any stronghold games anymore
Gamespy has ceised it's multiplayer server support. You need game ranger.

I have gameranger, but if I start a game with it, it brings me to the Menu of Stronghold Legends, when I click on "Multiplayer" it freezes and after that it says server not available

game ranger works for me so i hope you already resolved the issue but game ranger does work, what i do is i
start up game ranger
host the lobby
invite your friend(s)
then click play on game ranger and wait
(dont clcik play on steam open the game up from gameranger)

Do you have a Steam copy of Stronghold 2 and it works for you? Because it's been two days since I started trying to make Gameranger work with steam SH2. None on the whole internet says it works, but everyone seem have a dvd or cracked copy
