[SOLVED] Picking up some stuff at the beginning of Fontaine's Fisheries

So I'm playing through this game for the first time (yes, in Remastered - I'm an achievement addict) and I've reached the point where Fontaine lets me into his place and asks me to put my weapons down the tube. I did so, and then found the "Focused Hacker" plasmid and an Autohack past the door - but I can't pick up either, and the game isn't giving me prompts for it. There are some First Aid Kits nearby, and they give me the correct "Pick Up" prompt (though I can't pick them up because I have a full stack).

Is this a bug, or intended behavior? I haven't encountered any bugs yet, save for a single crash out of the blue, for no apparent reason - but I'm not sure, as it really looks like I should be able to pick these things up.

Hm, considering all the posts about the Remastered it may be a bug very welll. Normally you should be able to pick those up as they are not weapons. Additionally, there is the chance that those items are frozen. It would fit to the region you are. Try equipping your fire plasmid and melting any ice in your surroundings. Maybe you can pick it up after that.

As Adellon said, you cannot pick them up until you melt the ice.

Also, you can only carry 5 autohack tools. If you have the max, you cannot pick up any more.

I was able to melt the ice and pick both of them up; didn't even think of that. Thanks!
