YOU'RE WELCOME BRO go build some kickass castles
However, if I launch the game through the original library entry it will reset the compatibility mode setup on the .exe file. So I suggest to the people going with this option; add the game as non-steam game and hide the original library entry to avoid having to set up the compatibility mode again later.
Aw happy to hear it worked man! I know how you feel, I was so exhausted and disappointed for not being able to play till I found these. Enjoy man! And thanks alot for the award, means so much!
Firstly, I tried what it is commented here, applying to the launching parameters of the game in Steam the next:
But it was not working, so secondly, I applied solution 3, BUT with a trick.
In Windows 11 there is a button to apply the changes to all the users at the bottom of the compatibility tab, and applying the compatibility from this button seems to work without any issue, even when running the game from Steam library.
Hope it helps!
Cheers
