I have reinstalled, changed the type of cursor and added the extra bit to the target on the shortcut but i cant see my mouse no mater what I do

In case anyone else have this issue, you have to run the game in Win7 compatibility mod. To achieve this with the steam variant, open the game then minimize it by pressing the start key. Then right click on the game icon on the task bar then choose properties. here you set Win7 compatibility and restart the game.

Da click derecho, propiedades, ve a la pestaña compatibilidad y cambia el modo de compatibilidad a Windows XP (SP3)
