Multiplayer without Gameranger
I tried to get a multiplayer game with a friend working without gameranger... but it didn't work. we tried it even with hamachi, but it's not working either. Any suggestions? Help is appreciated :D

It's actually impossible to do without GameRanger to my knowledge. Both of you need to just download it and one of you needs to host the game on it. It's really easy to use, only downside is it plays an obnoxious ad (which you can mute) every time you host or join a lobby. Beyond that you just have to give your friend the description and the password and then you're one click away from multiplayer.

I have no idea why you can't just forward ports and connect directly via ip, but...you can't for some reason.
