cant see mouse

so in non of stronghold games, i can do ewerything bt coursor is invisible, what can i do to fix it?

try changing cursor in settings, crusader allows for two different cursors - regular, and a sword. Check to see if both dont work, or just one.

Also have this issue! I've tried tabbing in and out, I've restarted, I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I've played with all the mouse options--I've done seemingly everything.

Some of the following may help to resolve the missing mouse cursor issue -

* Magnifier *
Windows zoom - Ease of Access Centre
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Ease of Access Centre\Make the computer easier to see
Turn off Magnifier

* Pointer Size *
Windows zoom - Ease of Access Centre
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Ease of Access Centre\Mouse
Check the Pointer size and colour is set to the first setting.

* Compatibility Mode *
In Windows Explorer open the following location - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stronghold Crusader Extreme
Stronghold Crusader.exe
Stronghold Crusader Extreme.exe
SHC/Properties/Compatibility
Tick - Run this program in Compatibility Mode for:
Windows XP SP3

* Compatibility Mode *
In Windows Explorer open the following location - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stronghold Crusader Extreme
Stronghold Crusader.exe
Stronghold Crusader Extreme.exe
SHC/Properties/Compatibility
Tick - Run this program as an administrator

Mouse Properties, Pointer Options
Visibility
Untick - Display pointer trails
Untick - Hide pointer while typing

Taylor, thanks for posting! Your/Steam's suggestion to change Compatability Mode to WinXP is the setting that fixed this issue for me. You saved me a LOT of time.

If you did not solve the issue for now, try to change compatibility setting through all the users by:

Go to:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stronghold Crusader Extreme
Stronghold Crusader.exe
- Then right klick -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Change settings for all users
- Check - Run this program in compatibility for: Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
- OK
-> now it should work!
