Some of the following may help to resolve the missing mouse cursor issue -
* Magnifier *
Windows zoom - Ease of Access Centre
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Ease of Access Centre\Make the computer easier to see
Turn off Magnifier
* Pointer Size *
Windows zoom - Ease of Access Centre
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Ease of Access Centre\Mouse
Check the Pointer size and colour is set to the first setting.
* Compatibility Mode *
In Windows Explorer open the following location - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stronghold Crusader Extreme
Stronghold Crusader.exe
Stronghold Crusader Extreme.exe
SHC/Properties/Compatibility
Tick - Run this program in Compatibility Mode for:
Windows XP SP3
* Compatibility Mode *
In Windows Explorer open the following location - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stronghold Crusader Extreme
Stronghold Crusader.exe
Stronghold Crusader Extreme.exe
SHC/Properties/Compatibility
Tick - Run this program as an administrator
Mouse Properties, Pointer Options
Visibility
Untick - Display pointer trails
Untick - Hide pointer while typing

The following programs may interfere with the Mouse Cursor -
Nvidia Shadowplay
RivaTuner
-Mike
Go to:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stronghold Crusader Extreme
Stronghold Crusader.exe
- Then right klick -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Change settings for all users
- Check - Run this program in compatibility for: Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
- OK
-> now it should work!
