Attack range

I try to google but can't find anything so can anyone tell me: If my unit stands on higher ground (wall, tower, high plain....), will it shoot farther?

Yes? I mean even with logic its yes, though Fire Pot Throwers seem to not be affected by that so only archers and crossbowmen.

yes and no. I do believe they fire a little farther, but not by much (the arrow as at the end of its arc when it hits, so if you continue it to account for the height it doesnt travel much farther as its travelling mostly down). The main benefit to having the higher ground in SHC is that the enemys range is shorter, if they can only just hit you on the ground, then if your on the wall their arrows will hit the wall below them instead of hitting them. Also their aim is worse, so if they had a 70% chance of hitting you on the ground, then they might have a 50% chance on a wall or tower.

Thx, I have check in map editor and realize that being on higher place only make it harder for enemies to hit your unit but the range did not change.

Higher ground doesn't affect attack range. It effects accuracy. If you have high ground, enemy's accuracy gets lower, yours will be better. Lookout Tower is the highest building in the game so if you place your ranged units on it, enemy ranged units can't hit your men easily.
