I can't play the game, I need help!

Hello buds,

I bought this game 2 days ago, wanted to play it, but it didn't start up...
I tried GameRanger aswell, but that gave me a screen to wait for the host, which took hours...
Does anyone know a fix for Waiting for Host screen, or any fix at all?

you and the host need to be the same version of the game. Poeple on gameranger doenst always have the leatest game version so check that. Eu a nother thing you can check is that game ranger his porth is portforwarded. for more support contact me :)

My brother and I use the same version...
And if not, how can I see what version I have?

I also cant get the game to load, just want to play solo

control panel>programs and features>turn windows featurs on or off (left side)>legacy components expand that and check the box "DirectPlay"
that should fix the game not starting

This is what I did to get it to work.: 1. open Control Panel
2. click Programs
3. under Programs and Features, click Turn Windows Features On or Off
4. wait for the list to load, then scroll down until you find an entry called Legacy Components
5. expand Legacy Components and check the box next to DirectPlay

i searched for legacy components but didn't find it
