Weird multiplayer connection issues

Another player and I were trying to play multiplayer with gameranger. I hosted and we were both able to join the game lobby fine. I put AIs on both of our teams. When we got in the game we started having connection problems, it said something like "the other player is reconnecting, sending him game save." We both have good internet and we are getting the issue no matter who is hosting. Any idea what the problem is? Could it be the AI?

He's name is written curved(it's called italic). You can fix it through doing what gameranger tells you to on the site on which you get throwned on after you click the LEARN MORE in the window which appear always before you host/join a game.

I don't see either of our names in italic. Here is the error we get in the game. It plays normally for a while but then it crashes http://imgur.com/a/VwFoE

Does before that appear you guys feel slow-downs and slowly bigger and bigger lags?

It starts to happen almost immediately after we start playing. The error message will appear and then it will go away. Repeat a few times and then finally it crashes

It shouldn't crash as this bar appearing is just a lag. It's way better option for such a ♥♥♥♥ stopping time in this game than other games... Where the players with better computer speeches feel less lags and get advantage. Freezes in Crusader are nice cause everyone is disabled of movement.
