Having trouble with the resoultion

When I started up the game, the resoultion is windowed, and i cant see anything, its all pink. I press the controlls, nothing happens. Do i reinstall it? I can give a screenshot for anyone that wants to see.

Also my monitor is 1440x900, but it opens in windowed mode.

Yeah, the exact thing happened to me when I press ESC too. Maybe its not optimized for Intel Cards.

I once had similar problem with another game, maybe it will be helpful...
Check if there is registry path [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Direct3D\Drivers] or [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Direct3D\Drivers] and key SoftwareOnly and if it's set to "1", set it to "0". If it's not, well, just nevermind.

Just a quick question, but can you hear any of the music when you start the game?
