yes, you have to somewhat remember what tiles are affected by each tile. You can do it the hard way by noting down everything, or just look everything & try just by moving around (there's actually only 2 or 3 trap doors that are hard to close and keep closed).

Solution: when you start before first trapdoor - N - E - 3xN - 3xW - 3xE - 2xS - 3xW - N - 4xE - 3xN
