(SPOILERS) played (SPOILERS) expertly, and clearly does it a lot
Nina got played by Blake, there are a lot of signs there that give his game away.

Blake's a hermit who no one wants to be friends with, so he plays up how everyone else is lame and he doesn't want 'connections', so he can pretend it's all his choice. These are dime a dozen on the internet, see them everywhere - the internet 'badasses' who are online at 5am mocking 'people' at large.

Of course, he can't get girls or sex living in his bedroom in his mom's house, so he preys online for girls he finds attractive and grooms them. Note he only goes on about how PHYSICALLY attractive she is. He meets 'hot' girls online and gets them to send pics, and continues further if they meet his wants. He lets this slip when mentioning another girl sending him pics, but note he was put off by her because he considered her ugly.

He played her perfectly, the way he reeled her in by playing hard to get, complicated, uncertain. He's eager at the beginning to establish the relationship, but when it comes to the payoff he acts unsure and even pretends to be a virgin until she's begging him to meet her. Perfect reverse psychology.

Then during a trip to visit his cousins, paid for by his mom, he gets free sex.

He's a smart player, but no doubt the only gigantic♥♥♥♥♥♥that was in that bedroom.

That's a great analysis. At the start of the game, I thought "oh yeah, this guy's a D-Bag", but as he opened up about his insecurities more, I started questioninig "Is he actually a jerk? Is it just something to hide his insecurities? Is he just pretending to be insecure to lure Nina in?" and even at the end I was still questioning how geniunie he was or wasn't. I didn't pick up on the meaning of hte other girl sending him a picture, but that totally makes sense the way you interprit it.

This was an interesting read. I'd say one conflict is that he spends tons of time in this game and apparently only talks about Nina with all the people he plays with, which seems a bit different than if he was trying to 'play' different girls. I think strong arguments could be made both ways, but I like the details you've found about Blake here and wouldn't be surprised if something like this was the case.

One funny thing I noticed: Blake's wearing a Starscream shirt when he first meets Nina. Perhaps a signal about his betrayal? :kenthink:
