Art Vandelay has Super Meat Boy

Worth buying?

Is this game worth buying even when I dislike platformers? I mean, they are fun to play every now and then, but I cannot play them for longer than 15 minutes because they become too tedious. Most often with platformers I lack the drive to play on. Is that different with SMB, or should I stay away from it?

SMB, if by that you mean Super Mario Bros., has become stale in recent times, at least to me.

But platformers like Rayman Origins and Super Meat Boy feel fun and fresh. They're fast paced and if you die, you instantly reset at the beginning of the level (or section, for Rayman). You have unlimited lives too.

Hopefully that helps. Super Meat Boy is all about skill. No power ups to help you here.

It's an amazing platformer everyone should play, but if you don't like this kind of game you won't enjoy it :/

Oh crap. Ugh. This fawkin' game. Is INSANE! Can't even get past a level before an hour ticks away! It's fun though!

You say that you enjoy them for a short while. In that case Super Meat Boy might be for you, since the levels are really short. Don't buy though if you get easily frustrated, because the game is difficult and frustration is almost inevitable on later levels.

This game is great, but if do like just relaxing during the process of playing, I think this game is not for that reason.

if you like hard but fair games with a cartoony art style and humor to boot,then this game is for you! my only problem is that there are only 6 worlds not inculcated the internet,but thats only a nit pick of mine.BUY THIS GAME

It's a very fun game. Difficult at times and some levels will make you rage but it is all worth it in the end once you complete those levels. Very much worth the money.
