black screen

when i open the game i have a black screen but i hear the audio i tried puting "-windowed -1920x1080" in my launch settings but it still doesnt work can someone help?

Hello, try looking at this guide and see if any of them match your issue to try and fix? Black Screen with audio in the back usually happens when your resolution (monitor) is higher than what the game supports.

For your launch settings put in

Without the quotations so just copy and paste that, if it doesn't work then try

"-screen-width 800 -screen-height 600"

My bad, so try copy and paste this into launch options instead

"-windowed -screen-width 800 -screen-height 600"

This'll make your resolution the lowest the game can handle while being in windowed mode which should let you see the game.

it is on windowed but on 1920x1080
and when i open the game and my cursor isnt on it i can see everything load but the second i focus on the game it changes to a black screen, have you dealt with anything like this?

Try change it to the exact settings above and see if it works, if so then from there on you can change everything in the ingame settings.

If not, i'm kinda at a loss sadly. Try out some methods in the guide such as
- Change to OG version
- Graphics Card update
- Different launch settings
etc
As any small change can fix the game entirely at this point.

I have never dealt with this sadly so i'm at a loss.

What you can do though is contact [e-mail] via email and tell them everything you've told me.

That would be the auto response, it may take 1 - 2 days for an actual response.
