Jump button not working properly

So today I've launched the game for the first time in several years, and found that controls don't seem to work correctly on my new laptop. Whenever I try to jump while holding the right key, the spacebar just doesn't works. I don't have a gamepad, so I can't just switch to it (or test whether it's an issue with just KB or the whole game, for that matter). Anything that might help solve this?

Maybe your new laptop has a tight limit to how many keys you can press at the same time.

If that's so, I have no idea how to fix it.
On the other hand, maybe the spacebar key doesn't work properly.
So I suggest you to change the keys used in the "buttonmap.cfg" file that you can find in the local files of the game.

Steam > Library > Super Meat Boy > Right Click > Local Files > buttonmap.cfg > Right Click > Open with... > Notepad

Change the jump to something like v or b just to test out if it's actually the keyboard.

Yeah, this is some weird issue with my KB. The spacebar refuses to work while specifically the right arrow key is held. No idea why that happens; doesn't seems to be a key limit as far as I can tell.
I remapped my jump button to V and it's good enough but still rather inconvenient

Have you tried pressing the two keys together in a different game?
Because not long ago I found someone having the EXACT problem while jumping and moving to the right on Meat Boy.

I tried that in Terraria and it didn't work there either. Holding shift and right key at the same time - spacebar doesn't works. And yet it functions perfectly fine with the left key.

Ah... so that means it must be a problem with your keyboard/pc. Damn...
