Super Tofu boy won't unlock

I've gone and done everything I possibly could to unlock tofu boy, googled it, typed "petaphile" in character select and selected meat boy as fast as i could but tofu boy still won't unlock. what the hell is going on?

First: You don't unlock it, you can use it only when you time the petaphile.

Second: You don't need to be fast, you just need to type petaphile until you hear: "Push the buttons!"

yes i know i typed petaphile and all that but i never heard push the buttons
but one of my friends just sent me a savegame that had it so its fine

Are you using a qwerty keyboard ? You have to take this in consideration.

I use an azerty keyboard and I have to type "petqphile" to use Tofu Boy.

I think that's why it doesn't work.

1- Go to character selection
2- Type 'petaphile' fast enough and you'll hear 'Push the buttons'
3- Select Meat Boy

If there is no Tofu Boy, then I don't know
