Super Meat Boy
C.H.A.D. Is a bad boss
I am not very skilled at games, but this game is hard, but fair. Instant respawns help to make dying not frustrating and the levels are very cleverly designed. But C.H.A.D. the Ch 2 boss is not like this. The stage itself is a dificcult vertical level with rising goop, this is fine, but a level like that on its own lacks a boss, so they added Chad. An RNG boss that pops in and out in random spots making you have to wait for him, waiting is frustrating if you need to try over and over again (which i need to do for all levels, I am not that skilled), having a route that you use, improve on and practice is a great and fun strategy for completing levels for a casual gamer, but Chad throws this out the window making you have to stop, wait, check where he is going before moving, stop, wait, etc. it is annoying and frustrating.

spoiler, prettymuch every boss is rng based, and not at all fair.

Spoiler : If you don't like RNG, you won't like Rapture.

And nope, 2/6 is not pretty much every boss.

Chad is not luck based at all tho, just pay attention to the blood boiling before he appears

Various stuff in the game is RNG based when it shouldn't be. Homing Missile guns, Homing Black Goop Demons and platforms aren't properly reset when restarting a level. If you restart a level they may fire at you immediatly or sometimes wait a while before firing.

You have to quit to the main menu and load back in to the level if you want any semblance of consistency with these mechanics.

spoiler: there's actually very little (if any) RNG in the game. there's quite a lot that's manipulated by your movement, if you play inconsistently it might look like it's doing something different each time, but learning how to handle to bosses is the thing that makes boss stages not just... stages.
also you aren't timed on bossfights. don't rush. if the stage itself doesn't have something to kill you for taking too long like the world three boss then you can take as long as you have to with no punishment.

those aren't RNG at all, their firing is based on line of sight, if there's a clear path to you, they'll shoot, then after a reset time they'll shoot again if the same condition is met. nothing random at all.
and if you think that moving platforms are inconsistent you must be really bad at playing even remotely consistently. they're based on a cycle that's started when the level begins or is reset. they'll always be i the same place at the same time.
