Weird Stutter Glitch?

I got this game through indie box. I like it, and it's difficulty. However, for some reason, my game will sort of stutter or freeze up the screen for a second or two, The game still runs, leading me to some really cheap deaths. I tried using startup commands in the properties menu to set the detail quality lower, but it still happens. Anyone know how to fix?

Game will receive an update soon (which fixes bugs, adds the 2015 soundtrack, re-enables the World hub). It currently has a beta branch. Visit this link:

Here's my advice:
> read the last comment (it's posted by me) from that thread - then go to their website and tell them about this issue
> join the beta branch, if you want - to see if the problem is fixed there

Where do I tell team meat about this issue? I don't see anything labeled "Bug Reports" on the website.

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 960 @ 3.20GHz

Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti

Video Card #2 DisplayLink USB Device

RAM 8.0 GB

Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 (build 14393), 64-bit

My screen resoulution is 1920 by 1080.

Also, ever since i changed the resoulution settings in game, i've either had it happen less, or am remembering wrong about something.
