EA nebude, hra vyjde v říjnu jako hotová, i když v budoucnu plánujeme nejenom bugfixy, ale i nějaký ten nový obsah - monstra, zbraně a Itemy. :-)

Is this going to be pretty much like killing floor?
Alda Games  [developer] Aug 30, 2016 @ 5:43am
No, this is more like Ziggurat, Binding of Isaac and other rogue-like/lite games. :-)

Hey I just saw this by randomly browsing steam looks pretty interesting !

What engine are you using for it ?

What's the average playsession time ?

Does it have the brutal difficulty of some rogue-likes or being an fps make it a bit easier ?

I saw that cover was a pretty major influence in the combat to block attacks and all that does it deteriorate or is this a cover hugger shooter ?

Also how much does it cost ? I need this right now.

Looks great guys I'm really looking forward to this one, owning bassicaly every fps rogue like on steam It's nice to see such an interesting addition to the list. Awesome job!

Hi!
Thanks:

Unity

Depends on how soon you get killed, but estimated time to finish game in one go (as we have permadeath) is 2 hours but it depends on your style - if you explore every room, it can take much longer

It is easier and more difficult at the same time. We dont have real bullet-hell as bullet movement in FPS is not so easy to see. But we have bear traps lying on the floor and it is very easy to step on them and get caught because it is hard to pay attention to enemies and floor simultaneously. Our difficulty is also very dependent on luck and your playstyle - if you get a lot of negative popularity, AI audience will give you "trouble items" that can very effectively lower your chance of survival. :-)

Blocks can be blown away but not destroyed. It is game changing mechanic only for some boss fights, otherwise it can only help you a little bit.

It won't be expensive, we can promise that.

We belive that you will be happy with our game - it is unique in many ways but we learned a lot from other rogue-like FPS games like Tower of Guns or Ziggurat.

Awesome ! Really looking forward to it !

What about multiplayer? Or it's dont fit in your game?)
Alda Games  [developer] Sep 12, 2016 @ 1:17am
It's really not good fit for our game. It is single-player rogue-lite experience. But we have online voting if you want to stream your game and interact with your viewers - they vote for Items you get after each level.

Was it intentional to pick a name so similar to Killing Floor, and do you think this may cause confusion among consumers?
Alda Games  [developer] Sep 20, 2016 @ 1:39am
We hope that it cannot confuse at all - we are always directly saying that it is completely different game - singleplayer rogue-like/lite FPS more similar to Ziggurat, Tower of Guns and even Binding of Isaac.
And name comes from the time of early prototypes when it was meant to be horror escape game mixed with Saw, Cube etc.

But fact is that Killing Floor is extremely popular and people see "Killing" and stop thinking. That's why we rather abandoned font style we had on Greenlight page that was "similar" to one used in Killing Floor games (it was not that similar and it was pure coincidence) - we are sticking with neon headlines that shouldn't cause any confusion at all.

TLDR: We are trying to avoid any confusion but it is quite difficult. We explained it so many times that it's realy tiring. :-)

Hi. I see that the system requirements differ greatly from minimum to recommended. Is your game super optimized and super stable, with a wide variety of graphical options and can theorically work on every computer made since 2004? (I'm saying 2004 arbitrarily, it's just that dual-core 2ghz, 4gb ram and DirectX 9 graphic card, well, says litteraly that it would work everywhere). And how well would it work ? Like, what do you think would be the recommended requirement to hit stable 60FPS without any graphical options?
Alda Games  [developer] Sep 25, 2016 @ 5:45am
Hi Arkabed,
we will probably have to change minimal requirements for a bit higher. You can play it on everything but reaching some stable framerate with 4GB Ram, integrated GPU and older 2Ghz dual-core would be impossible.

We decided to include quite big options for graphics quality so it is still possible to play the game on low resolutions with some integrated GPU quite well but it is quite CPU heavy. We still have to make some optimization and then tests to determine what to recommend as minimal hardware. But it looks and runs great on recommended hardware even now (1080p maxed with 50-60+ FPS) before the final optimization so we hope that hardware won't be problem for most of games. :-)
