Strania - The Stella Machina -

Welcome G.Rev!
I'm just as surprised that G.Rev is coming to steam and their first title is Strania!

Which is a real good title in a sense, since the game plays in a "Einhander" sense where you can hold up to 3 weapons at a time, where choosing the right ones in the right situation, but the wrong ones go in a bad situation, unless you can handle the constant stream of bullets and other projectiles the game will test you against. Not only that, but an intricate score system as well based on the Kyu/Dan type of ranking (Use your weapons more, reach the max rank, get more points). Not only that, but temporary invulnerability that can double your score if used in the right situation. (Also, the Side Vower DLC is included in the steam release is a plus.)

I just hope if this gets successful (if at all possible), maybe more titles from their catalog like Border Down, Under Defeat, both Senko no Ronde's, and even Mamoru-Kun Curse and Kokuga.

Been a crazy amazing year for shooting games on Steam. Just a few months ago, who would have thought we'd see games from Cave and G.rev and not to mention Dariusburst on Steam, all releasing within a month. Just insane.

Seriously, can't wait to see what next year will bring.

I forgot Dariusburst was coming on Steam as well as PS4/Vita! This really is an amazing year!

I'm not a huge shmup fan but with Dariusburst, Ikaruga, Fantasy Zone 1/2 (on 3DS), and now Strania coming out on Steam, I have nearly my top ten favorite shooters all here! Now if Konami was nice and let Treasure port Gradius V to Steam, my life would be complete.

If Senko No Ronde gets ported, I'll love G.rev forever.

I'd kill for Under Defeat and Border Down to be released on Steam as well.

Look forward to this game.

Good to see that so many legendary Japanese shmup developers are finally releasing their games on Steam. Definitely going to buy this game. But what I really really really want is Border Down on PC, one of my favorite games of all time. And if the graphics were updated a little too, that would be awesome :)

Two words G.rev:

BORDER

DOWN
I'll buy this game because I want to support G.rev (I want Border down plz)

Yeah, would love to see Border Down and Senko no Ronde (with great online please) here. And anything other from G.Rev too.

The only thing that has me worried if this will be a good port or not. I really don't want another Phantom Breaker: Battlegrounds and Gurumin quality of porting mediocrity and abandon it so they can't be arsed to fix it.

Well, if anything, since this is based on the 360 version, I don't think there will be any problems. Thought that'll vary between users and their PC specs if they can get it to run.
