Game looks great and I am excited for it. After watching the video about this game on perafilozof's channel, it seems that all weapons are lasers. Will there be kinetic weapons as well? Honestly, just my opinion but I find lasers in Sci-Fi extremely boring. What's way cooler is kinetic weapons from the best Sci-Fi ever, Battlestar Galactica. Seeing those huge turrets in the game video shoot lasers only was very disappointing. Really hoping there is kinetic weapons as well so I can use those instead....

The trailer makes it seem as if we can directly control ships and aim their weapons, is that a thing ?
