I have the same problem, but it sticks everytime no matter how I restart or re-try.

Almost a year later, still have the same problem.

Couldn't finish the game on my steam deck because of this bug. Had to beat it on my desktop.

Restarting the scene didn't solve it either

Hi, sorry to hear all that! Try restarting the chapter and if that does not change anything, restart the game. This has solved the problem for most. We suspect this may be an input issue, so try a different mouse, if possible.

We are not able to reproduce this on our end. If you would have steps we can use to recreate this problem, please let us know. (we are interested in how you solve the puzzle, but also when you are clicking and releasing your mouse, how long are you dragging an object, etc...).
