I see. That’s a bit annoying! I used to race IRL and thought this aspect of the game would be something I could really get into.

Yeah, I think we can say that.
I've had no issues getting the game running and my old Logitech wheel and pedals work fine. I am however, disappointed they've blatantly lied in their game description. I feel ripped off. I had no idea about the backstory with the devs and current owners. I really just wanted to race Karts in VR and tinker with all of these parts they've shown in the description.
I've got about 1/2 an hour in game. I'm considering refunding it due to their dishonesty.
