KartKraft
XBox One wireless controller.
I go to controller options and select XBox one wireless and the controller does not work in the race. What gives?

Have you tried setting the buttons in the BINDINGS Tab?

Thanks for the reply. I did but the steering seemed a bit flakey. I presumed pre-sets would be better. Guess it's not working.

I have the same issue. when I try to go bind the buttons. It basically says X-axis 0 for every button I click. Please fix, keybord is bascially unuasable for racing.

Using elite wireless pad . Was slightly flaky , but works just fine as I bound each function as Grubby said . It's like RFactor - it will work . Keep at it .

Hi guys - Please le me know if you're still having any issues. We'll be adding more presets with each release.

Guessing the X-axis 0 being set when you try to remap is due to bad self cantering of the control sticks. I get this on my X360 wireless all the time, and Microsoft are too lazy to make a decent driver for their gamepads that allows a deadzones on the control sticks to prevent false inputs. Managed to tweak my pad setup in Kartkraft to stop this behaviour by increasing the deadzones. However the end result is less useful stick range, so super sensitive steering as a result. I’d recommend a linearity setting for gamepads to help with this (and also a decent driver from Microsoft ;) MANY YEARS OVERDUE).
