Simtools Motion Plugin
Any idea when the developers will be adding support for streaming telemetry data over UDP. Waiting for this in order to develop a plugin for motion rigs.

Thanks

Telemetry appears to be working, check the Discord post for a more detailed response from one of the Developers.

Thank you.

The good folks over at x-simulator.net have clarified that it is in fact the 2nd of the two available plug-ins which wasn't receiving the telemetry data correctly.
Of course, as luck would have it that is the one I was using, thus the issues.

I was going to delete my posts since the issue has been identified, but will just leave them as-is in the event that other fellow SimTools users are having the same problem and are looking for the answer.

TLDR, use the original SimTools plugin dated May 10th/19 (v 1.0.0.0) as opposed to the second build which was posted on May 17th/19.

No, but waiting for this too. I know I'm in a niche market that want VR (now implemented) and telemetry (for simvibe). There are plenty who want one or the other though :)

+1 for telemetry output for motion + Simvibe!

BTW, thanks for the early VR support devs, you rock!!!!

Codies could learn a thing or two from you folks.

DR 2.0 coming soon without VR....LOL...crawl back to the dark ages Codies!!!!

Please hook up with Next Level Racing to have motion support added to their V3 platform!

I am on the verge of buying KK, but since using motion, I can't drive without it, literally. It induces VR sickness in me when I make turns and don't move.

I also have NLR V3 Motion and when I contacted motionsystemsEU who make the Platform Manager software I was told they had reached out to KartKraft devs in order to be able to include support for their sim/game and they received no reply at all. Maybe too busy, understandable but still unprofessional not to reply to them. Same goes for Simxperience in order to support AccuForce Wheel who also stated they tried contact KartKraft but got no reply.

Btw Raging Beard, my little boy loves your cat, Bob ? sorry I am guessing his name, in the vids we watched of your NLR V3 and Direct Drive wheel. You need him in every video as he definitely adds humor and interest. Maybe get him some driving goggles and feature him on the rig !

Lol thanks, yeah I'm just his sidekick really. His name is Jonesy (named after the real hero from Alien). He does sit in the rig a lot, hence my Sparco seat pretty much being fur lined now! I could try the goggles, I don't think he would be too impressed...

No news on telemetry? Or any other update?

We've been a little delayed with some engine updates and getting our hardware simulator working for the Australian F1 Grand Prix. UDP telemetry is working in our test builds and will soon be released.

I hope so too, but if someone releases the telemetry data they will support it too.
