Cant rly get it to work with my Xbox 1 controller, i've tried everyting on the settings, i even tried changing the preset settings on keyboard and controller but it just doesnt let me i makes me use the keyboard anyways. HELP PLS :c

Also: If you are in Steam Big Picture mode check under Settings -> Controller and check ON the Generic Gamepad Configuration. Check OFF the “playstation configuration” and “xbox configuration” check boxes.

If not in Big Picture mode, then go to the top left menu in Steam -> Settings -> Controller -> General Controller Settings and and check check ON the Generic Gamepad Configuration. Check OFF the “playstation configuration” and “xbox configuration” check boxes.

so, I figured it out. You can navigate and setup the game with the controller, but you cannot map/bind button assignments with it. You have to select each action with the mouse. I'm back to scooting around!
