A.I. Aggression

I have attempted to do a race with the AI on Hard and Legend difficulty
at least about 50 times now, with the same result every single time.
As soon as an AI kart comes near me, they will push me off the track
or simply turn me around. It seems like I am invisible to the AI and they
will just move over to my line as if I'm not even there.

I enjoy some hard racing, but it's impossible to have a clean race from start to finish.
I'm on pace with the Legend AI, so the problem is not me being to slow through the
turns or braking too early or anything like that.

for the grown-ups among us:
I have noticed when you're on the inside the AI does give room,
but when on the outside they drive like you're not there,
even when already half a kart or more ahead of them.

Please don't take this as anything else but constructive criticism,
I really love the game and can't get enough of it at the moment!

Yeah, I get spun out alot. AI is a tough thing to do right, so I'm kinda surprised it's added before pvp. Overall, I check back with this game from time to time and see encouraging progress. Played today and it seems like the ffb has improved considerably. Even with getting spun out, it was fun to have a different mode, hopefully the AI can gain more player awareness in future updates. I usually seem to find openings on the outside, maybe I need to try to set up more inside moves.

@gsnell - We’ll be adding more granular control over the AI’s characteristics. We think it’s important to have diverse behaviour amongst the field. We’ll keep you posted once the controls are added!
