okay, so, admittedly, I HAVE played the web itch version, however, reason I'm making this is, I think it may be a good idea to have a demo up on steam maybe! even though I myself have already played through itch.io, I remember many games which I ended up getting do to being able to play it's demo first, so I don't think it'd be too bad of a call maybe!...
