Ok, cool. Now alter atk by some notable amount (keeping all other variables equal) and repeat.
If ppl are really interessted, i have to finish Etna Mode via Baal exit fast and get a new Apocalypse with 12 Slots from DHM and then I needa perfect lvl it to 100 so i can compare it to my lvl 100 Yoshi which had the perfect treatment. The other problem is I needa steal a 12 slotted rarity 2 to be more specific, to get the 4 same rarity number bonus to go along with my Yoshi XD
Edit: Screw that, gonna lvl that 11 slotted one right now to 100 and test it again :D FOR SCIENCE!
The equipment was the same on both hits, weapon masteries at lvl 20 and skill lvl at 0. Both weapons were lvl 100 and the different char attack values are listed in the screenshot caption.

Next thing to calculate would be the armor shred, if its on Calamity Drive too. Doubt the shred would have made a difference on the 2 Def Prinny lol
The main difference is: Sword gives AoE, while Axe is straight up single target damage. So in the long run sword will be more flexible and axe will require supportive AoE clear skills like close combat magic while using the axe.
But based on this it will be easier to achieve the 10m damage achievement going straight up axe, and the Apocalypse is easier available than a Yoshi, considering u can steal it in DHM fight 4 or 5.
Careful with this source. First of all, there is a hardcap for stats at 20,000,000, so Thursday's higher attack potential isn't actually all *that*seful (though it would allow you to get more stats close to cap, and makes the cap easier to hit). Second of all, it isn't *possible* to steal a 13 slot item, although a 12 slot item does end up with 16 slots. Third of all, beyond being painfully slow, stat stealing has a 64k cap.
Nightsever does 300%, Dimension Slash is 250%. Against more enemies, Dimension Slash is better, but one-on-one, Nightsever is stronger. Actually I think Hurricane Slash (200%) can equal Nightsever if the enemy has a weakness to Wind damage, but that might be in Disgaea 2, I'm not sure.
Graviton Bomb is also 300% but Fire elemental, so it can be resisted. Calamity Drive is 300% and not elemental.
Some monsters have 300% or 325% attacks, but they are generally not as useful since most monsters suck. Prinnies have a 350% ultimate skill oddly enough, but it is area-of-effect around them, so not too useful (and they are still Prinnies).
Laharls Meteor Impact is 275%. Gordons final skill is 500% (!!!), but it is based on ATK and Gordon usually has a low ATK in favour of high HIT due to his gun affinity. But he also has S growth on Axes, which can make him potentially devestating.
Jennifers ultimate is 400% too, she is surprisingly good.
I think the most useful skill is the brawlers ultimate attack, Big Bang. It "only" does 200% and it is fire elemental, so it is far from being the most powerful move. But it requires no wind-up space, damages a 3x3 block, and has a massive, 64DM max height. That is actually the best height range in the game, way bigger than even magic attacks (which have 36DM). Lots of counters on brawlers also mean you can get them fairly quick, despite being the last skill they learn.
The downside is the huge mana cost, relative to the SP growth of the brawlers.
It's even better in Disgaea 2, where the main character is a brawler with S growth.
