Ok.
Darn -_- guess another run through then.
Yep did that one with an army of Surts and Etna together XD Was preparing for that one in a normal run through with throwing lvl 9999 Surts into the base and capturing them :D And having some decent mobility on Etna + a Yoshitsuna and getting rid of the Geos in the order: Clone, Enemy Boost, Silence, Lift.
The Achievements I'm missing right now are EX Bosses, Hyperdrive, Transmigration Master and the 10m Damage.
Guess I could probably "cheat" the transmigration master with doing some quick transmigrations on a char after a couple lvls, but so far I just do them once Laharl hits 9999, so currently I'm at 2/10 lol
Would probably be faster if I do it at around 3000 every time, but right now, Im not impatient enough to speed it up XD
Why, what difference does it make?
Or do you mean "to" a level 9999 character?
tyvm, Bomb Bloke kinda gave it away earlier. Will get to him sometimes today when I have time.
If I remember correctly, if u do the trans at 9999 u will get the highest default starting stats and if u get above the lvl threshold u will have 210 instead of 200 points. Something along those lines
To my understanding, you get 200 bonus points for maxing out the counter at 186,000 banked levels, and you get an additional 10 for taking the Genius transmigration (which you're pretty much always going to do) - so there's your 210 points.
What I don't get is why you'd bother to grind to level 9999 before any given transmigration (given that level gains slow down significantly the higher you go). I can't find any mention of any additional bonus for doing so.
... and I've also never heard that one before. :(
Oh, wait, the "same class" bonus is apparently Disgaea 3?
Well I know for a fact it's in 2, I thought it was in this one as well.
Ah! That's new info for me. I found more details in a guide:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps2/589678-disgaea-hour-of-darkness/faqs/26085
To get each bar to its maximum 40 points, you need to have at least 1,120,000 HP (without pupil or equipment bonuses), and at least 280,000 points for all your other stats. That does require a fair bit of levelling.
Those breaking points are good to know. So that kinda means the 9999 aren't necessary as long as u manage to hit all those stats for max benefits on the final transmigration.
At least I would understand it that way
