Does throwing a prinny count as killing an ally?

The only thing that counts as an ally kill is hitting and killing one of your allies with an attack or special skill ( blowing them up with thrown friendly prinnies doesn't count, also killing off a certain story character later on with a self sacrifice skill they get doesn't count for them, but counts if you kill any other allies with it).

Throwing a monster into the base panel (and a character inside dying) also counts an an ally kill.

Completely untrue. I have 100+ allies dying to that so far and my ally kill counter is at 0.

How do you check ally kill counts?

Did they change this from the psp version? I read that it does count as an ally kill

It does in Disgaea 2 onwards, I think, just not in the first one.
