Give me back the random name generator

I love looking for ridiculous names like Berrymelon! Why is the random name generator not in the port?

It should be, when you create a character just click the done button when it prompts you for the name and it should give the character a random name.

i believe it was bound the the "select" button in the second one, feel free to tell me if im wrong.

try pushing the button bound to that key

Yar. I'd noticed that. But you can't go through the list of names and select one with the "select" key like the old Disgaea game.

That option wasn't shown on the character generation screen. Didn't bother to check what bind with "select"...

couldnt find a way to get random names :( but just google random name generator and you get alot of options. a bit pissed of about it tho.

might boot disgaea 2 on my emulator in the background just to get the name generator

LOL!!!

The google name generator ain't as funny as the disgaea name generator. Heck nothing ever come close (other than the next Disgaea game...)

that is true, but my computer is just slightly above a toaster performance whise so im not entirely sure i can run both at the same time

Disgaea DS had the Name Generator. I blieve it was bound to either select or X

I never said it was in the PC port, People are just acting like Disgaea one never had it (as I never saw it in the orginal one other than going on with out a name, and it never gave a new one if you went back)

This. As this is the PSP version port, it functions just the same. Sadly the PSP version also had no "per button" name generator, so you had to switch in and out, like you have to do here.

The only post that say it Disgaea 1 didn't have one is regarding the PSP port. My PSP has gone to a better place (*sob*) so I can't check it out...
