makai kingdom iirc
Salvatore for a ranged physical offense, and my fetish.
Flonne for support and healing
Metallia for offensive casting
There's my 5.
I always get a chuckle whenever mid-boss is involved with something or another.
In this particular game though I seem to recall Laharl being the super overpowered character until you can unlock the best unlockable which shall remain nameless for the new players.
Edit: The DS version changed it from SRPG to 2-D turn-based battles like the games two sequels. The sequels apparently were fan-translated.
in Disgaea 2: Rozalin
in Disgaea 3: Mao
in Disgaea 4: Valvatorez/Axel
in Disgaea 5: Killia
in Disgaea D2: Etna and Sicily
and on the flipside, my least favourites are
1: Flonne (love freak!)
2: Taro / Hanako (I just find his willingness to be Rozalin's slave disturbing for his age)
3: Sapphire
4: Nemo
5: Red Magnus
D2: Pure Flonne (even bigger love freak!)
ahh ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ its been a while lol.
What, it counts right?
