Disgaea 3, 4, & 5?

I've already played Disgaea 1 & 2, a lot of us have, these games have been out for a long time on multiple platforms and are easily the most assessible Disgaea games. It's great that Disgaea is finally coming to PC, the platform seems perfect for these types of games and I hope it's a good port and does well. What I want to know is if Disgaea 3, 4, or 5 will ever come to PC? I've already bought Disgaea 1 & 2 and played them to completion multiple times I'd really like a new one.

Disgaea 3 did very poorly and almost sank the series, 4 brought it back but mostly because people were comparing it to 3 and not 1-2... Honesly don't know what they would do, but bringing 2 to the pc is most likely in the works since both 1-2 did well and would be easy sells...

Three had the weakest story but the mechanics and gameplay changes they had were pretty cool. Four feels like a real high point.

At this stage there've been no official, specific comments other than "we'd like to do more games".

Presumably sales figures of eg this game will decide it.

I was really not much a fan of the cast in D3....most were just plain obnoxious. D4 was great. The main character made you really feel for him again like you did Laharl in D1. I have not played D5 or DD2 yet since I do not own a PS3/4. I don't much see D2-5 coming to PC anytime soon. D1 would have to do EXTREMELY well and even then the pace would be slow. Just look at the trickle effect on delay from the PS3 releases of D3 and 4 to Vita.

Ditto. I've played the Disgaea and Disgaea 2 to death. They're both great games, but I have both the DS and PS2 copies of D1 and a PS2 copy of D2. I don't need another copy at full price. What I want is to get my hands on the PS3 exclusive ones.

It's always sad when the sales figures on a re-release of an old game being ported to Steam determines any future releases.

Especially when it's a re-release on the same platform, but that doesn't apply here, it's just that speaking as a customer I have far less interest in buying this than I would any of the Disgaea games I haven't played, simply because I've already bought this three times and played it to completion.

There's also the fact that PPSSPP has been able to run it on PC for quite some time, so PC gamers interested enough already had the ability to access to this release, whereas there is no adequate way to play any of the later Disgaea games on PC.

Oh yeah if they ever release confirmation on a PC port of Disgaea 3 and above I'll buy this just to have the whole collection.

I think NISA is now really starting to get into the PC market. They've already bringing the Psycho-Pass VN, Criminal Girls and htoL#♥♥♥ to PC after this. So no doubt, if Disgaea sells good, then we will see more of it.

as a new comer to the series I decided to buy 5 since I've been enjoying JRPG's a lot lately and the gameplay looked fun and I can safely say it's been a blast so far with the 15-20 hours I have into it at the moment. The music is awesome, the dialogue and story is lighthearted fun and cute :D, and the gameplay+combat animations are pretty nice as well. Really hope to see them bring the whole series to PC so I can have the collection in one library.
