(Adell, Rozalin, Zetta, and Pleinair) ???

Does anyone know how to unlock them? the new patch added them as playable but pleinair is the only one I have.

When you win them so it is post game.I am not 100% sure because they just did pop in my party.

you should get plenair by default, as for the other 3 im still looking, i;ve not found them in cave of ordeals, human world, alternate netherworld, prinny land or beauty castle or baals castle =|

Adell and Rozalin: Complete Cave of Ordeals 5 in Laharl Mode to unlock "Demonhall Mirror" as part of the Cave. Complete the stage several times, eventually you'll face a Level 1500 Adell and Level 2000 Rozalin. Defeat them to recruit them.

Zetta: Complete the story until Gordon joins you. Raise the Stronger Enemies bill to its maximum, then speak to the dimensional gatekeeper. She will mention something about a powerful enemy in the Stellar Graveyard, where you fought Gordon. You can turn the Stronger Enemies back to 0/Weaker Enemies to max if you want now. Go to the area, beat Zetta(minimum level of 3200), and he joins.

for some reason plenair didn't show up in my game yet. i was in etna mode at the time the patch came up and notice the prinny maid so i finshed etna mode and when i went to laharl story on newgame+ i got zetta as soon as i left his bedroom but the prinny maid is still there with no plenair. did i bug out the game by being in etna mode when the patch came out?

I figured it out why she didn't show up as I had a max roster (used for talking the 9999 surts many pupils for spells) I deleted a bunch and got Plenair and the rest of them instantly

Deleted some of my characters to test this and still don't get anyone else. Maybe later then.

She can be recruited by selecting the blank option in the Dark Assembly during a New Game+. She has the class called Mascot. Her unique skill is Usagi Drop, which drops a few copies of Usagi on an opponent. She has high aptitudes for SPD (being the only class other than the Ninja to be able to dodge special attacks and spells) and Hit, making her suited for using guns.

Quick Way To Get Pleinair To Join Your Party
To Get Pleinair to join your party, you have to beat the game. A quick way to beat the game is to lose to Mid-Boss in the 4th stage of Vyres Castle; it technically counts as beating the game because you lost to Mid-Boss which results in the Mid-Boss ending. Now continue your game & you'll restart the game with your characters on the same levels they were on when you previously "beat" the game. Go through the intro & the tutorial, then go to Pleinair as if you were going to the Dark Assembly. Talk to Pleinair & choose the blank option, she will then join your party. Pleinair is a huge help to your party! She is great for killing bosses because she has insanely high speed! She barely ever gets hit!

Other people are saying that they just suddenly received all the characters so this can't be the only way.

edit: Unless people had already beaten them (were they in the game already to be beaten, even?) and they just retroactively joined?

They were in the game already, yes. I had beaten the trio, and when I saw the update, loaded up and had them + Pleinair. I have used NG+ twice as well.

If you're having issues recruiting them, for whatever reasons. You could try using my mod instead, which also allows for recruiting some additional party members and also restores a bit of the DS exclusive dialogue.

Are they worth it? I mean i got them, Just had them since patch. Must of been while i whent for the 100% on achievements. But are any worth the grind to 9999?

I suppose that if you recruit them and then start a NG+, you don't get to keep them (at level 1), but need to go back and beat them at level 1500/2000 again.

But if that's the case, then by the time I can get them, there's not much exciting left to do with them. That's the problem with some of the high-level recruitable characters in The Last Remnant.

The Last Remnant, everything will scale to your Level and Leveling Up is Discourage because if you Max yourself, the Boss and enemies will also Scale to your Max and thus become Unbeatable and Unkillable.
