But I don't regret buying this game.
Brilliant SRPG, yeah it could be cheaper, but if the price irks you - don't buy it. It's not like you need it or anything.
You know what I mean ;P
If you already have it on other platforms, why are you whining about the price on PC?
I don't mind popping down $15 for it, because my only other option involves doing something I can't mention on Steam without risking a temp-ban...then again, I actually act like an adult and don't think I'm entitled to extremely cheap games for reasons unknown to any entity, human or divine.
This man gets it, well done.
If you had actually read my post you would have seen that A I am not whining about the price merely stating what I felt the game on PC was worth to me and B I went on to say that it was worth the full price to someone who liked SRPG's and had not played it yet.
You're totally disregarding all of the people who have yet to play Disgaea while simultaneously ignoring the hell NISA went through to get the port working right. If you want to play Disgaea but don't want to spend money, you have options and have had them for ages, heck, you can just fire up your old PS2 save and play that--you do have your old PS2 save from 2003, right? You literally have no reason to be here.
By all means, wait for it to go on sale if you want. I have a few games on my wish list I'm waiting to go on sale again. But it's unreasonable to expect them to give you an 80% discount or remove the game. Disgaea is far bigger and more robust game then many you'll find on the xbox store for $20. And the games on Steem that are $4 or less tend to be small games which wont even take a couple hours to beat. Often ones that clearly were made using RPG Maker. Not that there's anything wrong with RPG Maker. I'm using it myself to (slowly) create a game.
It made sense with the plot I got during the demo, but it didn't really feel as good as Disgaea's systems.
Anyone who will say otherwise can go *******. I meant it! I will call my edgy gang of edginess if you wont listen."
My problem with Phantom Brave's demo was that the first battle felt unwinnable. That may have been my fault though since I skipped the tutorial. I figured I'm familar with such games, I could figure out any unique mechanics on my own... only to deal 0 damage to the enemy in the battle.
That might have been a bug, since I managed to win the fight fairly easily. :P
