Pleinar high mana cost for transmigration
So, I was just looking at transmigrating, cause I will need to eventually, but Pleinar's transmigration costs are similar to what it is for a monster you've only killed once. Any ideas on why/how to fix this?

Seems about right since you probably haven't killed Pleinar? It looks on par with transmigrating Laharl or Etna.

Except that Laharl and Etna have normal costs. Humanoids and Uniques should have a flat cost, that is also fairly small, 5000 for Genius. One for a monster killed only once would be closer to 100,000 or 200,000 for Genius

No, Laharl and Etna cost 50 mana for the first, and 5000 for Genuis. Pleinar's Good-for-nothing is 2500, and 17700 for Genius.

She's an endgame character I guess?
The 150% aptitude kinda gives it away.

its 15000 for divine Majin at Genius.

I'd fix it with Managers. 15000 mana is nothing endgame.

This is consistent with how Pleinair worked in Disgaea DS. Instead of a regular system for most human characters, Plenair has a 2700 flat cost and all of her level costs are tripled on top of that. So instead of 5000 for genius, it is 2700+(5000*3).

Ah, yeah, this most effectively answers my question. Thanks for the explanation. :)
