Are we allowed to print the art book out once purchased?

Are we allowed to print the art book out once purchased? Or there is some kind of agreement or even a blocker to prevent us from doing so? I do not even have a printer at the moment, but I also have not bought a digital art book before either. But when I do, I'd like to print them out for personal use. Thank you.

Like most content put out these days, it's under copyright, meaning you're not "allowed" to reproduce it without permission. Legally speaking this is the default, and it stands until the rights holder says otherwise. NIS hasn't said otherwise, though you have the option of asking them, if you're so inclined.

Technically speaking, they've applied no protections: what you get is a PDF file. Hit the Print button and out it'll come.

If all you're after is a "portable copy", though, I'd instead suggest simply copying the file onto a phone or tablet.

The FBI aren't going to bust your door down if you simply print out a copy for yourself. As long as you don't distribute it to other people publicly, you're fine.

If they didn't intend it to be printed they wouldn't put it in PDF format.
