If this comes to PC / Steam, I'd be inclined to buy it a fourth time (JP PSP, NA PSP, Steam)
Honestly I don't even think the graphics look better. They might be higher res, but it looks like the typical Phone Game treatment that I tend to dislike in comparison to most original sprites.
That all said, if I hadn't owned the game on PC, I'd probably have prefered to buy it on Switch, since I do appreciate that portability. Especially for slower games like JRPGs or TRPGs.
The UI got reworked slightly, but it's literally the exact same HD toggle textures and all the same maps and ♥♥♥♥.
The only thing that could make it worth anything is if it includes all the DS and PSP additional content that wasn't included in the PC version, and even then knowing NISA, they'll ♥♥♥♥ up the translation.
It'd be a real feat to mistranslate content into English that is already translated into English.
There's nothing missing from PSP in the PC version, and it's only missing a few characters from the DS one (and I guess related fights?).
That's why I specified the content that was missing from the PC version, not saying that none was included in the PC version. DS is based on PSP and includes everything from it and more, so I wasn't sure if NISA meant DS or PSP when specifying the PC version includes everything from "Afternoon of Darkness".
And if Refine includes the DS exclusive content, that'll be the only reason to get it. If it doesn't, then you can just wait for someone to mod in the new sprites to this game and it'll be identical.
Although it seems like they're replacing some of the old ones.. The Scout, male cleric, brawler,Treant and Winged.... I just saw one new model, the EDF soldier
I WANT THE OLD MODELS HD NISSSS DONT DO THIS TO MEEEEE
