There is an innocent for inflicting and for resisting every status ailment. Inflicting, you have value%, up to 100, to be able to inflict that ailment when you attack. Resisting add 1 to that ailments resistance.
Some units, such as Majin and various monsters, start with 99 resist, and are effectively immune to ailments, but all other units have 1 resist and thus can be aflicted very easily.
If it's a melee character, put a whole bunch of gladiators.
If it's a mage, put a whole bunch of teachers.
If you have time, aim for 19998 gladiators/teachers.
