How do you unlock Etna mode?

I've beaten the game twice, and I still haven't unlocked it. Is there something I'm missing?

You have to unlock Etna's secret room and obtain and read all her memories there, and then beat the game.

To get in her room you have to push the hidden button behind the throne, and another one in the skull on the counter of the shop. Then search in the corner behind the prinny in the center of the castle, between the shop and the throne room.

Also I just checked and if you have a controller, you can unlock it by putting the cursor over Start and press YXBYXBA.
