fastest way to ___ 1900 armsmaster / Majin unlock / rank 39 weapons
I'm about 25 hours into the game, my highest level character is a Ronin at 90 or so with the Longinus and instead of finishing the story right away I'd like to do some grinding, and more specifically I'd like to get those things mentioned in the title as fast as possible.

- 1900 armsmaster, took me a long time to get something like a 300 stat, so doing the same until 1900 would take a huge amount of time. my question is: is there a quick way to get one armsmaster specialist that high? Maybe getting really expensive items from the shop? Atm my shop rank is around 8 or 9.

- considering my party situation (highest character at 90 with Longinus and around 5k attack), is there a spot where I can quickly grind the classes I need to be at 200 for the Majin unlock?
I understand that using a 1900 armmaster specialist will make that quicker, since I need the level 10 sword skill on garbage classes like Thiefs.
then again, can I even kill anything in CoO 3 with a party like that? I'm not too sure.

- getting the Longinus this early was obviously a huge power up, even though I don't like spear skills at all.
I'd like to know if there are any other rank 39 weapons available to get early game? I know you get some from stealing but in that case I need really high level party members which I don't have atm.

Try getting a dream hand and go to Dream Hand World via Item World. That's where I got my Legendary Cosmic Blade and other legendary rank 39 by luck lol.

The level of armsmasters found in shop is random. But try maxing your shop rank by 12, as the value of unsubdued specialists will be much higher.(Note: you'll spent a tons of HL)

Have a thief, male warrior, brawler, scout, and ninja learn winged slayer or 3x3 Giga-Omega Spell and Spam CoO3 till all of them are level 200+. That way the majin will be automatically unlocked at Dark Assembly.

Rank 12 shop sells up to Rank 38 equipment, which can be enough of a stat boost to let most classes do something useful in Cave of Ordeals. Train them in CoO1 or 2 first, if they need the boost to handle 3.

Grind on the first map in Stellar Graveyard to about 140+. Shouldn't take long with Winged Slayer or a 3x3 spell. I have my units stronger by like 4-5 times. So due to that I can't tackle CoO3 that quickly unless I boost damage with braveheart on characters with weak sword damage.

It's easy to grind on that Stellar Graveyard map because it's a nice 3x3 formation of enemies. If you're gonna rank up 3 people at once you can just spam the Blade Rush.

thanks for the replies. I'll try to get the shop to rank 12, but I'm assuming the items at that point will cost a LOT of HL, is there a good place to farm money? (I don't wanna bother getting the specialist)

also a couple of things:

- I got a dream hand, am I supposed to find the good items (>good legendaries and stuff) in the first 10-20 floors so I just keep resetting there or much deeper?

edit: ER, I can't do anything in the dream hand IW, all the enemies are level 250-300 right from the first floor.

- I tried the first map in Stellar Graveyard (9-1 I think?) but it seems to take forever to get 5 characters to 100-150 there. Laharl after clearing it once levelled up 1-2 times even with a 300% exp bonus from the specialist and he was only level 50.
I've read that 14-1 is also a good grinding spot before getting to CoO3, shouldn't that be better? I know in 9-1 you have a 3x3 group of monsters which you can clear really fast but still.

The reason I stick with 9-1 early is due to that they are easy to kill as they have low defense.
My "Stronger Enemies" cost in Dark Assembly is 350 so I've increased them quite a bit.

But this means that one fight from level 1 gets me to like 52 or so if I wipe them all out at once. Then it won't take many rounds to get to level 100.

But for this you kinda need a 3x3 ability. The first ability that hits 3 spots could be used on stronger enemies though.

The CoO3 has some very high def enemies, so you need quite a bit of attack power.

I see.
however that means I need that level 10 sword skill on all the characters I want to train there, and without a really high armsmaster specialist that's gonna take a while lol.
I guess I could make a bunch of Ronins, get level 10 sword with them and then transmigrate? That's probably faster.

Your priority first is to have one strong character that can endlessly spam coo3.

If you can spam coo3, then you can level up to 1000+ and earn 10m HL much faster and easier.

That way you can max shop rank and get 1900 armsmaster sooner. You can also steal a rank 39 item from an enemy much easier from dream hand IW.

Edit: Get 300 brokers and 300 statisticians on your weapon so that you can level your character up to 100+ and tons of HL when you grind 9-1. 9-1 is actually much better compared to 14-1 because of the 3x3 enemy format.

And when your characters are strong enough to handle Cave of Ordeals, Spam CoO3 as it's the same as map 9-1 but way better exp and HL bonus.

I followed your advice and started spamming CoO3 with my strongest character, I got her up to level 600 or so when I stopped.
it's was annoying to farm there with her because she's using spears and spear skills aren't great to clear all of them quickly, not to mention that those skills also elements attached to them so you only do 50% of your actual damage to some enemies.
in the end though I managed to find a good setup and it worked out. turns out the enemies in CoO3 don't move at all if you're far enough, allows you to buff as much as you want.

my situation now is very different from yesterday, lol. besides my Ronin who is now around level 700 I managed to level up my Galaxy Mage from 80 to 1000+ in like, 1 hour? It was insane how much better and quickier it was with the mage in CoO3.

not to mention that I could just kill them even at low level because as I said, if you're far enough the enemies don't move at all and I just kept using my spells until they were dead.
and god bless the IW, I managed to get 2 Lucifer Forces (1 of which I sold for a huge amount of HL; I think around 100 million) and 1 Cosmic Blade.

that being said, my issue right now is how to level up my Thief and Scout to 200. my Thief is already around 100 but good lord he sucks so much. even with the best equipment I've got he can barely kill anything.
transmigrating doesn't seem worth it since it'd take even longer to get back there at 100+, and getting swords at level 10 with only 300 of armsmaster takes forever.
so my best option here is to grind for armsmaster 1900 and then spam 9-1 or what?

For leveling other low classess the best way is to just give them the best gear you have, to at least give them some damage against enemies and start killing, maybe not the highest level first but somewhere lower, unless you have buffed their levels.

I went to the Cosmic Blade IW for a bit and the buffs on the weapon I got from clearing 20-30 floors helped a lot to level up the Thief faster.

anyway;

Buy weapons in the shop (rank 12) and subdue Armsmasters till you get a max of 1900.
Then put the maxed armsmaster on the weapon then go to map 5-3.
Keep attacking enemies till the weapon mastery is 255.

With 255 weapon mastery, the bonus stats you get from a weapon will be boosted by 14.99x.

Small detail, but I find that, whenever possible, it is best to attack allies on 5-3 for a counter war, and have the enemies fused into 1 and trapped on the only panel that isn't Invincible.

Training mastery on a thief is best done by using a class with A or S mastery in the desired weapon, and transmigrating them into a Thief once you have enough, like having learned Winged Slayer with Sword.

Upgrade the shop. search the shop for items with multiple versions of armsmaster at 30. two or three. combine them so you have one armsmaster at 90.

have a gency exit.

save

enter the item world. if the specialist is there kill it and gency. if the specialist is not there and the gate is easy to get to run to the gate and repeat.

if its not there and the gate isn't worth getting to, quit out and load the save.

move the specialist off the item and sell it.

repeat till you have the subdued specialist. do this dunno 19 times? 15 times? you'll have a level 1900 armsmaster.
