How do you zoom?

How do you zoom? Whenever i pick up the Tek bow, the VO lady says zoom function enabled or whatever it is. But it doesnt work.

I just picked up the tranq gun and it has a scope on it, so figured that should definitely work, but nothing happens. The map zooms in and out no problem, but not the scopes.

In the options menu, the key binding are set to Z and X. Is there another button i need to press to activate the zoom function?

first you have to click the RMB (unless you've remapped it), then you can zoom in and out with X and Z. the funny thing is that this doesn't actually work with the Tranq Gun (despite the huge scope), only with the Tek Bow and Plasma Rifle.

It is strange to put a big scope on the tranq gun and not utilise it.

it actually is strange, but i don't think i ever thought about this until now, except maybe years ago as a kid. the Tranq Gun isn't all that useful imo, and i guess a zoom function would be kinda pointless with it. still weird to have that scope on it.

I love the tranq gun.. It's a huge ammo saver and I use it frequently. You don't need to worry about headshot.. just hit anywhere a couple of times and the enemy goes down.. then you finish it off with the blade.

i get the point of the Tranq Gun and Charge Dart Rifle, i just don't like them too much. never used the Tranq, barely used the Charge.

I still can't seem to zoom. I tried taking alt fire off/on of my Steam Controller right trigger (mapped to right mouse). Any ideas?
