Another one: Those leapers in the caves seem to bleed yellow if you shoot them, but bleed red if they die
[edit] and every enemy hit with the knife seems to bleed red (like the beetles for example)

not sure if bug, but some melee enemies can clearly hit you beyond the range of their attacks. also, i'm on a gtx 980 ti, and i still found a spot where i feel to like 56 fps. kinda weird

My enemies also run very fast. However they don't tend to do it immediately after starting the game, they start doing it some ways in. For example, starting from the very beginning, I tend to get super accelerated enemies in the big clearing with the shotgun in the air after I visit that bonus blue portal place and come back out.

Also the "light scatter" produces white rectangle flickering for me as well.

I've noticed that the game world moves a bit too fast, and I noticed this during part of Level 3: The Ancient City where you have to step on a pressure plate to lower wooden bars and run over before the bars raise back up. I ran straight for the bars after pressing the button, without being sidetracked, and I saw the bars were already starting to raise back up when I was about to get past it. Mind you, I did manage to clear it, but I don't remember the bars raising back up that soon in the original. I'm also playing on Hard mode for those wondering.

You need to strafe run, like GoldenEye. You move faster.

Hard and impossible difficulty are just ridiculous with that speed scale. That must be fixed.

Game keeps crashing at startup, with following message: "Exception caught in main: see CRASHLOG.TXT for info"

Similar thing kept happening with Powerslave EX (same engine, right?) several months ago, and I recal that crash log contained the line that was almost identical to the one from Turok's: "Access violation at 00000065. The memory could not be read."

Seems like your engine doesn't like my PC very much. If there is an email address available for reporting of issues such as this one, I can send entire crash log trough it.
Do hope that I won't have to refund this in the end. As I said, I recall similar thing from Powerslave port and I was never able to play that one due to it.

I'm having the same problem. Reinstalled twice, still won't launch without crashing.

Instant game crash; as soon as the exe is double-clicked a Windows pop-up states:

Exception caught in main: see CRASHLOG.TXT for info

Lots of code in that crash log, but the top part has:

sobek caused a Microsoft C++ Exception (0xe06d7363)
in module KERNELBASE.dll at 0023:74b7c42d.

This pillar can be walked through on the side I'm facing causing you to fall to below the platform (level 2).

The light scatter issue seems to be a common thing, I have it too, I hope you make a fix soon as some parts of the game is very difficult because the pixelated noise tends to block out most of the screen

EDIT: So after trying over and over a few times, I have gotten the game to start, but I still randomly get the crash. It's like the game only starts if it decides to.

Same crash others are getting. Game loads and menus work fine but as soon as I click start I get a crash.

I'll add my entire log just for fun. What a bummer. LOL Running Windows 10, 4790k and a GTX 980.

sobek caused an Access Violation Exception (0xc0000005)
in module sobek.exe at 0023:004094a8.
