3-point filtering?
The N64 did this. This is a port from the N64. It would be most appropriate if it had it.

Technically it's not an n64 port. It's a rebuild in a new engine based on both the n64 and pc versions.

3-Point filtering is fairly unique to the N64 itself and I'm not sure if its even something possible on regular PC hardware. http://filthypants.blogspot.com/2014/12/n64-3-point-texture-filtering-in.html Actually gives a nice small explaination.

You can do pretty much whatever the ♥♥♥♥ you want with shaders. It's already been done years ago in the libretro fork of mupen64plus, which is mentioned in the very link you posted. :b

It might be possible to just mod it into the game, since all the shaders are readily available in the kpf, but I dunno much about writing shaders myself to say for sure.
