Was just about to write it...

Pay for QWOP :rfacepalm:

Did QWOP have 4-player split screen mode? Replays? Leaderboards? Online replay sharing? Long Jump? Triple Jump? 110M Hurdle? Career Mode? not-so-frustrating gameplay?
My game is very different from QWOP.

And for those who claim I copied QWOP, please read that: http://ragdollrunners.com/ragdoll-runner-development-history/
(TL;DR: I published a version of Ragdoll Runners two years before the release of QWOP)

That's nice and all, but I don't think anybody was crying out for any of those things.

Maybe because the very hard gameplay of QWOP is not adapted to that and they don't imagine a better gameplay.
You believe nobody wants a good track & field game? (without button mashing)

And don't forget that the game has been "greenlit by the community" (with 45% of “yes” votes, which is a good ratio).

Good luck on the game.

Give me your email address and I'll send you a beta key. You'll see what it is more than that :)
But in exchange for having the game for free, I ask you to make a youtube video of you playing the game to show to everybody how poorly challenging it is :)
I believe we'll have fun ^^

(I have no problem comparing my game to QWOP. What I deny is that it is a copy or very similar)

Im ok with this... I check out some of your early stuff.... Theres a few games out there like this.. Like Mount your friends. and I em Bread.. There all based on controlling for points (joints) to move your charator...

I'll be picking this up as soon as releases

Your link didn't work.

From Wikipedia:
QWOP (/kwɒp/) is a 2008 ragdoll-based Flash game created by former Cut Copy bassist Bennett Foddy.

IMO if you released a version of ragdoll runner in 2006 people would have heard of it.

I really hope you're not just lying to make your qwop clone/rip off less obvious.

oops. I fixed the link.

Even if I was inspired by QWOP (I'm not), would that be a big deal? Aren't almost all games inspired by older games? Aren't all FPS (except the first one) inspired by older FPS? Is it bad that Portal has been an inspiration in the creation of other good games?

Ok works now.

Seems legit, I just can't fathom how two people made basically the same game, considering it's a pretty weird concept too. Not that I don't believe you, just crazy that it happened.

Comparing RPGS to RPGS and FPS to FPS doesn't mean people should be making more angry birds or qwops. Certain games don't need to be redone.

With that said, it seems like you already had a similar game made before it anyways.

I don't have fun with QWOP (almost never played it). But I have a lot of fun playing Ragdoll Runners. So yes, you're right, we don't need another QWOP, we need Ragdoll Runners :)

QWOP is an amusing game for about 5 minutes before you get sick of it. I played it in school because I was bored and had nothing else to do.

This at least looks playable for more than a few minutes.
