Hahah funny there was just asking a question about the difference between this and Scratch. No really though I have used scratch once for a class project using the Raspberry Pi I had to use it to show my teacher on how to make a script and how it could benefit a business for advertising. You know this is why I do not support people like you! Since I only played with Scratch on the Raspberry Pi but since you want to call people trolls guess that shows your mentality. Also learn what this ? means it is called a question mark mean it is a question something I see people forgot to understand.
As a Scratch user, you very well know that Scratch is not a game engine but an educative tool to make simple games with visual elements, and learn some algorithmic principles this way. My 6 year old nephew uses Scratch to make games. Godot on the other hand is a professional tool for the gaming industry, enabling indie developers, hobbyists and also (there's no reason not to) AAA developers to make the kind of games you can buy on this very Steam platform. You won't find many Scratch games on Steam.
And all this is super obvious if you visit https://scratch.mit.edu and https://godotengine.org, which you should obviously do before asking such questions on a forum, that's basic netiquette.
Note that I did not mean by any way to diminish Scratch's merit, it's a great tool for its purpose. But it has nothing to do with Godot or any other professional grade game engine.
While we are at it though, does anyone care to tell me what the difference is between the Libre Office word processor/ Microsoft Office Word and Notepad? Both of them clearly write text after all, and I have used Notepad since I was but a wee child.
