How can I check which Rad Suit I have on?

I had bought the shoddy one with the +2 rad protection early in the game, and I just got to the part where I'm supposed to get the +4 from Baychowski. Well I did that but when I opened my inventory it said the rad suit I had in there was only a +2 and I couldn't equip it. I moved it to a different character and it did say +4 until I tried to equip it then it switched to a +2.

I know the suits are "invisible" when equipped but is there any way to check to see what my radiation protection is?

I've just gone through my first big radiation area and everyone in my party almost died.

Do I have to equip every party member with a radiation suit?

No, one rad suit is for the entire group.

You can see the radiation protection in the character tab in the ranger menu (where you can view your inventory etc). The character tab also describes your ethnicity etc if I'm not mistaken.

How do you get rid of old rad suits btw? Cant seem to drop it, cant seem to sell it.

have you tried putting it in your stash at Ranger HQ ( I have forgotten to do that myself)
