I buy games because they are on GOG, I don't buy games that have Denuvo, I rarely buy games that are on steam.

Guess there is no denovo, i understand why devs use it, but they should understand that keeping it on there games longer then 1 month does't protect there software and only harms there sales, not a fan of piracy though denovo is known to cause issues with some games.

or you could just look at the financial success of Witcher 3 and come to the conclusion that if a game is good it will sell even if it's available on GoG and pirated in minutes

I find myself to browse GOG more often then Steam lately because they still have at least some form of quality control. I agree that DRM free version is not a problem by far because if you look at the scene you'll find out that steam-based scene releases are always first out before GOG ones.
