Can I *cheat* to give myself money?
Can anyone help me out with this? I don't mean to cheat, but I made a HUGE mistake and I'm in a ton of debt because of Death Benefits... I can't even keep up with the payments. I just want to payoff the debt and keep having fun killing pirates. Dx

Everything regarding your savegame is a .txt file (notepad file). You can freely open this up and change whatever you like, which is very clearly labeled for your convenience. Find the line "Credits" and just change the value.

You can find your savegames in ~username/AppData/Roaming/endless-sky/saves

When you're in the txt file, it should be somewhere near the top, or you can "CTRL+F" to search for the text "Credits".
i cant find those files, were are those?

Just do a search for the "endless-sky" folder and look for the saves.

On unix-based systems (Linux/mac):
~/.local/share/endless-sky/

that moment when you can get a loan for 2.08T
Just be aware that in OS X 10.8-ish and later, your Library folder (which contains your Steam/Endless Sky files) is hidden by default.

To unhide it, go to your user folder (Mac HD > Users > [User name]), then go to you menu and select View Options (command+J). Check the box that says 'Show Library Folder'.

Also be aware that once you're in Library>Application Support, Endless Sky's game files are in a different spot to your pilot save files.

The trick is that "~username" is in different locations depending on which version of MS Windows you have. It could be (assuming your username is "Bill") :

c:/Users/Bill/
c:/Documents and Settings/Bill/
